Maryland Education Credit

Thanks to all of the Christian school representatives who joined us on Friday, February 6, for the Maryland CAPE meeting! It meant a lot to the MDCAPE coalition who for years has been serving on the front lines for non-public schools in affecting public policy. We are experiencing a very unique time in our state's history as the window of opportunity to pass the education tax credit (known as BOAST) is once again open for debate. This bill, if passed, could have a significant impact on Christian school enrollment as it would provide scholarship money for students who could not otherwise afford to attend our schools.

Please place March 4, on your calendar now! Plan to bring a group of students to the Nonpublic Schools Advocacy Day Rally in Annapolis from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. where they can experience state government in action!

See important information posted that will explain the Maryland Education Credit and give details about the rally on March 4.
